    Collateral Damage

    Collateral Damage

The disappearance and subsequent murder of one of Western Australia’s most infamous underworld crime figures, Frank La Rosa, is only the tip of the iceberg.
This is a true account, the untold story of Frank’s daughter Lisa Mahoney, told in intimate detail as only Lisa herself can tell it in this roller coaster of a Memoir.
It is more than a story of life as a drug dealer’s daughter, and Lisa opens up about how her life was thrown into chaos on more than one occasion, including the many months of dealing with a missing person, to the somewhat closure she had when all hope was lost.

  • About the Author

Lisa grew up in the Northern suburbs of Perth, WA, leaving home at the tender age of 14. With very few ambitions in life, she joined the Royal Australian Air Force in 1987 at age 18.

Graduating from basic training and meeting the love of her life, all in a matter of a few months, she went on to train as a Steward, making Corporal in under 2 years, then moving back to Perth RAAF base Pearce on posting.

Upon discharge and moving to Tasmania, Lisa was a stay at home mum while she had young children, then retrained to be a Personal Care Assistant and moved into the Aged Care sector. Needing a change after 18 years, Lisa stepped out of Aged Care and into the private sector of domestic service, where she started her own successful business as a Housekeeper.

Lisa continues to be of service and strives to make a difference in the lives of others and to be a good role model for the up and coming generations.

As an animal lover, Lisa is passionate about wildlife and land conservation. In her spare time, she loves to cook for family, socialise with friends and go out dancing with her husband Michael.
